Heart Services
Just like that, pain explodes in his chest. Only 35, he seems too young for a heart attack. His wife calls 9-1-1, and he’s rushed the emergency room at Moore Regional Hospital. A skilled surgical team repairs his failing heart. His life is saved. Yet in part, his life was saved years ago thanks to investments in innovative technologies, integrated care and recruitment of some of the best heart surgeons in the nation.

An estimated 41percent of men and women in the United States — nearly 1 in 2 — will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetimes. Thanks in part to the support of The Foundation, the people of our region have a comprehensive resource to provide the care they need to fight this dreaded disease.

Clara McLean House
Located at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, the Clara McLean House is a haven of hope, support services and affordable lodging for out-of-town patients, families, caregivers, and so much more. Envisioned, constructed and endowed by The Foundation of FirstHealth, Clara’s House focuses on all the needs of families and caregivers with a loved one in the hospital.
