Home School Swim Program
Dates/Cost: Mon/Wed  September 10-December 12, 2018 2-3 p.m.,  Grades K-5  $190

This 13-week program is designed to build confidence and fitness in the water. Your homeschooler will enjoy the fun in learning and improving their swimming skills; while also building their fitness level. Each of the core swim strokes (Free Style, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly) will be taught.

Please bring your child prepared to swim with swim cap, goggles, swimsuit, swim fins. Space is limited, payment is due upon registration.

FirstKids Fitness Classes
Mondays, February 4 – April 29, 2019 • Ages 5-12 • 4:15-5 p.m.
A fun, high-energy fitness class that encourages healthy habits for 5-12 year olds. Reservations must be made by 3 p.m. for each single class online. Kids should wear tennis shoes and active apparel.

FirstKids Fitness Open Swim
Monday, January 28 & February 25• Ages 5-12 • 4:15-5 p.m.
Come let your child splash around during this time with extra staff in the pool area to supervise your child. Parents meet on the pool deck and escort your child to and from the designated changing areas.

FirstKids Special Events
Parent’s Night Out 
February 15 & March 29 from 5-8 p.m. • Ages 15 months – 11 years
Kids ages 15 mo-4yr will enjoy games, crafts and movies.  Kids ages 5-11 yr will enjoy fitness games, relays, obstacle courses, parachute games, and pool time.  A pizza and fruit dinner will be provided.   Each child should wear tennis shoes and kids 5-11 should come dressed in swimsuit under play clothes and bring a towel and bag.

  • $20 members/$25 community; each additional sibling $15 members/$20 community

FirstKids Specialty Classes
Swim Skills and Drills
Tuesdays & Thursdays • Ages 6-8; 3:30-4:15 p.m. • Ages 9-12; 4:15-5 p.m.
These specialty classes are designed to give your child the feel of summer swim team and what it involves. It’s also a great way to prepare for the youth triathlon.  Kids ages 6-12 must be able to swim 25 yards, the length of the pool. This is not designed to teach your child how to swim, but to help them build their skills. If your child does not have a very basic knowledge of Freestyle and Backstroke then Group Swim Lessons are highly recommended first. Should your child participate in all 3-sessions they should be fully prepared to swim for the summer. 

February 5-28 Swim Skills & Drills - Intro
Focusing on breath control (side breathing), body positioning and kicks

March 5-28 Swim Skills & Drills- Freestyle and Backstroke:
Your child should have a firm knowledge of side breathing, and able to perform this skill at a basic level.
