FirstHealth of the Carolinas is pleased to welcome Tania Oliveira, DNP, FNP-BC, CCM, CARN, to its team of providers at FirstHealth Primary Care-Pinehurst.
Oliveira, a board certified family nurse practitioner, joins Peter Dorton, M.D., and Brianne Evans, PA-C, and will focus on prevention, women’s health and chronic disease management.
Oliveira earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Family Primary Care from the University of Utah, completing diverse rotations across primary care, pediatrics, urgent care, women’s health and veterans’ health services. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Exercise Science from Brigham Young University.
Her clinical interests are rooted in helping patients live full, healthy lives. “I love preventive care — being in tune with your body as it ages is key to preventing chronic diseases and improving quality of life,” said Oliveira. “I’m also passionate about women’s health, empowering women to make informed choices about their health and well-being.”
