Tammy Brigman-Wallace, FNP, treats patients at FirstHealth Internal Medicine - Rockingham. 

Brigman-Wallace brings more than 30 years of nursing experience to her new role at FirstHealth Internal Medicine. She began her nursing career as an emergency department nurse at Moore Regional in Pinehurst in 1994.

She went on to become the clinical director of the emergency department at Moore Regional Hospital– Richmond. She most recently served as a nurse practitioner with FirstHealth Cardiology-Rockingham.

Brigman-Wallace earned her associate degree in nursing from Richmond Community College and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Winston-Salem State University. She went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2019.

A native of Richmond County, Brigman-Wallace brings a diverse skill set to the field of internal medicine, focusing on community-focused care that integrates evidenced-based initiatives and holistic approaches.

I moved here from PA and established care with Dr Tammy. I hate drs and don't go because I feel they don't listen. I was very pleased with Dr Tammy and feel she listened to me without passing judgement. I am still waiting for a follow up call for my test results and an issue we discussed that she said she is looking into but so far I am very satisfied as long as that follow up isn't forgotten about

I trust Tammy implicitly, and know that she will not only take care of my health needs, but if I have needs outside her scope of practice, she doesn't hesitate to refer me to the appropriate provider. She is a fantastic provider!

The medical assistant asked if I had any concerns she needed to add to the visit and Tammy sat and listened and didn't rush me. Did lab work and she listened when I voiced my concerns about medication, offer advices and encouraged me to do my own research. Thats an awesome provider in my opinion! She's now my pmd

A lot of things I've been going through here lately, I think it the attention would have been brought out on several issues with my health that maybe it could have been a lot of it preventable.
