Tammy Brigman-Wallace, FNP, treats patients at FirstHealth Internal Medicine - Rockingham. 

Brigman-Wallace brings more than 30 years of nursing experience to her new role at FirstHealth Internal Medicine. She began her nursing career as an emergency department nurse at Moore Regional in Pinehurst in 1994.

She went on to become the clinical director of the emergency department at Moore Regional Hospital– Richmond. She most recently served as a nurse practitioner with FirstHealth Cardiology-Rockingham.

Brigman-Wallace earned her associate degree in nursing from Richmond Community College and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Winston-Salem State University. She went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2019.

A native of Richmond County, Brigman-Wallace brings a diverse skill set to the field of internal medicine, focusing on community-focused care that integrates evidenced-based initiatives and holistic approaches.

The medical assistant asked if I had any concerns she needed to add to the visit and Tammy sat and listened and didn't rush me. Did lab work and she listened when I voiced my concerns about medication, offer advices and encouraged me to do my own research. Thats an awesome provider in my opinion! She's now my pmd

A lot of things I've been going through here lately, I think it the attention would have been brought out on several issues with my health that maybe it could have been a lot of it preventable.

Tammy is great and I never have to question whether she's looking out for my best interest. The staff's always super friendly and I have suggested them to other people in my wife, my family, friends, whatnot. Altogether a super great experience every time I go and never feel like something got left out.

All of her staff were very helpful and friendly. This was mine and my friend's first time to see Tammy. We were looking to change our PCP and she definitely was the best. I can't say enough good things about her. She was very attentive listening to everything we said to her. Both my friend and I have quite a few issues with our health. She was very attentive and listen to everything we said and answered us. I would recommend this office too anyone.
