Dr. Tang is a North Carolina native who grew up in Cary. She obtained her B.A. in Biochemical Sciences at Harvard University and her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the Columbia and Cornell University program located at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Tang and her staff are absolutely wonderful. My son has down syndrome with a rare disease and they absolutely did a fantastic job understanding and caring about his needs as well as taking care of me even the people in the waiting room and the girls checking you in were absolutely fantastic when it came to dealing with my son being a little loud and I kept apologizing and they kept saying it was OK that whole entire facility and that Dr was the sweetest doctor I've ever met and they are absolutely the nicest facility and yes, they would definitely recommend recommendation for me for anybody that needs to see an ENT.

Dr. Tang was so caring, patient, and understanding. Even though my case was complex, she actually genuinely wanted to help me. The office staff was also very nice, and very friendly. They were quick with intake but I didnt feel like I was just another patient. 1000% recommended their office!

In all fairness my doctor was running behind because of another patient. It was not the fault of her own. They communicated it to right away and I appreciated the communication. Everyone in this office is always friendly and kind.

I love this place. Professional from the moment you walk thru the door. Front desk sweet caring and Professional. When. I was taken to a room. Everyone spoke to me. Dr Shan Tang is the best. We need more caring, loving, devoted, committed, outstanding, great listener, people like her. From start to Finish of my procedure. Dr. Shan Tang explained EVERYTHING! We went to this visit with the expectation on receiving hearing aids. I was not made aware that the audiology department was understaffed until after the ENT visit. I was made aware that an appointment would not be made for said hearing aids for 6 to 7 months and that I need to seek outside assistance for the audiologist without any referrals given it was expressed to me that that audiology department also did not accept our insurance so I was disappointed. I should've been made aware before the appointment that audiology was not available for six months and unable to accept the insurance.
