Matthew Strode, D.O., joined the FirstHealth Cancer Care team and Pinehurst Surgical Clinic in 2020 after previously serving patients at Womack Army Medical Center on Fort Bragg.
Strode received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010 and completed his Internship and Residency at the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center in 2016. Before moving to Womack, he also completed a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in 2018.
He is double board certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and Surgical Oncology.
FirstHealth Surgical Oncology emphasizes treatment of pancreatic cancer, colorectal liver metastasis, gastric cancer, neuroendocrine tumors, colon cancer, breast cancer, laparoscopic cholecystectomy and laparoscopic hernia repair.
