Kelly L. Helton, MS, FNP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner who joined Birth and Women’s Care in November 2015. She was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and grew up in Troy, Ohio.
Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, in 2008. She later completed her Master of Science degree at Indiana State University in 2013. She is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Prior to joining Birth and Women’s Care, Kelly worked in the Emergency Department at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio, where she provided care for patients with a wide range of conditions, from minor illnesses to critical emergencies.
Kelly provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal and postpartum care, high-risk pregnancy management, preventive women’s health services, contraceptive counseling, menopause care, and wellness services to include medical weight management.
In February 2026, Birth and Women’s Care, PA joined FirstHealth, enabling Kelly to continue caring for patients as part of an integrated health system while maintaining the personalized, patient-centered care she is known for.
