Kelli Tillman, FNP-C, APRN has spent several years working in family medicine and said she’s excited to serve patients at FirstHealth’s Sanford clinic.![]()
“As a nurse my primary background was working with women and children, with many years spent in the NICU. I loved that so much. I also love the versatility of family medicine,” she said. “I like seeing patients from birth and watching them grow, even seeing patients become moms and dads for the first time. It’s awesome to help the entire family, even grandparents.”
Tillman earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Winston-Salem State University in May 2019. She said she knew early in life that she wanted to help people. “From a very young age I have always been deemed the ‘little mama’ in our family. I have always loved to help people, and health care seemed to be one of the best ways I could help others. I guess you could say it was destiny from the start,” Tillman said.
When she’s not caring for patients, Tillman said she loves spending time with her husband, young son and dog.
“We spend a lot of time with our extended family, and we love to travel and do anything outdoors,” she said.
