The nurse was too concerned about my insurance than addressing my care. I brought up various concerns I was experiencing and she would only address the single thing on my referral. There was no exploring a connection between all my symptoms. I was prescribed an antidepressant instead of bloodwork to see what could be going on. I left feeling like no one would help me.

I was scheduled with an incorrect provider. I had to wait for a referral for a specialist and they scheduled me with a regular provider, not the specialist, and I had an hour and a half drive each way to come to the appointment.

Unfortunately, my experience with Julia Malis was not positive. During the appointment, which was my first time meeting this provider, I felt judged for my decision to use hormone therapy. Rather than discussing the potential risks, side effects, and medical concerns in a factual and compassionate way, the conversation felt critical and interrogative. The tone used made me feel as though I had done something wrong, instead of feeling supported in making informed decisions about my own health. I fully respect that healthcare providers may have concerns or differing professional opinions. However, those concerns should be communicated with empathy, respect, and a patient-centered approach. I left the appointment feeling uncomfortable and discouraged rather than informed and cared for. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and supported, especially when discussing personal and sensitive health matters.

It was a positive experience and I really liked the provider

The front office staff were rude, making comments about other employees 'very loudly', (involving beating up other staff, daring them to say something to her) there were plenty of other women in the waiting area that just looked at me and shook their heads. The lady that took me back had blue jeans, Jordan's, and a jersey on, and did not acknowledge my issue. I have been going to this OBGYN for years and never experienced anything like what occurred Friday. I am very truly disappointed. For this to be a safe place for mothers to go take their children, and to indulge in this type of behavior is very sad. The dr was very polite and did acknowledge all of my issues in a timely manner. I do appreciate that comfort.

Very professional staff. I was seen in a timely fashion. First time patient and I am very pleased with the office and especially pleased with Dr. Malis.

Ms. Julia was very nice, very courteous, very thorough, very to the point, and I just enjoyed, you know, I go back to her and recommend people to her. And the nurse that assists her was great and very caring and fast. And it was a good experience.
