Dale Patterson, MPAS, PA-C, joined FirstHealth Family Medicine – Biscoe as the full-time provider in 2023. 

Patterson has practiced medicine in and around Montgomery County for more than 25 years and returned to full-time practice after teaching at Pfeiffer University’s Physician Assistant Program. Patterson said he’s always felt a calling to serve those in rural areas since he received the National Health Service Corps Scholarship in PA school, which requires a three-year service commitment in an underserved population. 

Patterson holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Certificate in Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest University’s Bowman Gray School of Medicine and a Master in Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He will continue teaching part-time at Pfeiffer University while working at FirstHealth Family Medicine.

Outside of work, he enjoys water sports, the beach, the lake, and spending quality time with his wife, Wendy, and their two children, Lily and Daniel.

The staff and provider we very professional and treated me like family. My visit went quickly. Every process was explained to me thoroughly. The provider explained my medicine to me better than any provider In the past. My wife is transferring to the Biscoe office as well.

Every time I've ever been to the office, everybody treats everybody with highly respectfulness. The nurses are great. The doctor is great. They treat each other really well. That is very important. I do not know of anything that I would change up there at all. Great. Been going for years, continue to go, and all of my family goes there.

I love all of the staff. They are always helpful and very thoughtful. Dr. Dale is extremely caring and I feel he truly cares about my health. I drive from Charlotte and believe it is absolutely worth it.
