Dale Patterson, MPAS, PA-C, joined FirstHealth Family Medicine – Biscoe as the full-time provider in 2023.
Patterson has practiced medicine in and around Montgomery County for more than 25 years and returned to full-time practice after teaching at Pfeiffer University’s Physician Assistant Program. Patterson said he’s always felt a calling to serve those in rural areas since he received the National Health Service Corps Scholarship in PA school, which requires a three-year service commitment in an underserved population.
Patterson holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Certificate in Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest University’s Bowman Gray School of Medicine and a Master in Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He will continue teaching part-time at Pfeiffer University while working at FirstHealth Family Medicine.
Outside of work, he enjoys water sports, the beach, the lake, and spending quality time with his wife, Wendy, and their two children, Lily and Daniel.
