About Dr. Casey
David Casey, M.D. is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in total joint replacement and adult reconstructive surgery, with expertise in both primary and revision procedures of the hip and knee. He utilizes advanced techniques, including minimally invasive muscle-sparing approaches, robotic-assisted joint replacement, and computer navigation to optimize patient outcomes.
Dr. Casey earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine through a U.S. Army Health Professions Scholarship. He completed his internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and his orthopaedic surgery residency at Boston University. Following his military service—which included multiple deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq—he completed fellowship training in adult reconstruction, arthritis, and joint replacement surgery at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
A decorated Army veteran, Dr. Casey received numerous honors, including the Bronze Star Medal and Combat Medical Badge. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
