Brian Rose, PA-C, MPH, AACC, joined FirstHealth Cardiology in Raeford in 2025.
A native of the Fayetteville area, Rose brings specialized experience in cardiology in both outpatient and hospital settings to his new role. His clinical interests include congestive heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, lipid disorders and cardio-renal-metabolic disease.
“Cardiology gives me the opportunity to care for patients through every stage of life,” said Rose. “I love the balance of acute and chronic care, and I strive to ensure each patient receives the most up-to-date information and treatments available. Caring for patients is not just a privilege, it’s a partnership.”
Rose is a graduate of Methodist University in Fayetteville, where he earned a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. He also holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science also from East Carolina University.
In addition to his clinical work, Rose serves as an assistant professor of clinical medicine at Methodist University’s physician assistant program, where he precepts students during their clinical rotations. Rose also serves as president elect for the Academy of Physician Assistants in Cardiology and on the cardiovascular team leadership council for the American College of Cardiology.
Outside of work, Rose enjoys playing tennis and golf, traveling and spending time with his family.
