Benjamin Marengo, D.O. joined the FirstHealth Cardiology team in September 2023. He specializes in all areas of non-invasive cardiology. Dr. Marengo earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Michigan State University. He went on to earn a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

He completed his post-graduate training with an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Dr. Marengo has always enjoyed science, teaching and helping people, so a career in medicine was a natural choice to blend all of those passions. Dr. Marengo and his wife moved to the area from Michigan. Their love for the outdoors and golfing made moving to the area particularly exciting as they enjoy the milder winters the area has to offer.

Yes, so the customer service was excellent from the time I walked into the building until the time I left. The doctor's nurse was really nice. She was very attentive. The doctor was amazingly attentive. He was very nice, allowed me to expound on my health. He expounded on my health and I really felt very at ease with the doctor.

Dr Marengo and his nurse are always caring, kind, respectful and concerned about my health! He explains what's going on and the next steps of what he thinks should happen. When I leave his office I always feel assured that he really cares about me as a patient and my health care needs are a top priority. He's a great cardiologist!!!
