A native North Carolinian who grew up in Cary, Dr. Richards received a bachelor’s degree in finance from East Carolina University magna cum laude with honors. After earning her medical degree from University of North Carolina School of Medicine, she completed her family medicine residency training at Duke/Southern Regional AHEC in Fayetteville.  A dedicated and compassionate physician, Dr. Richards brings years of experience in family medicine to her work in medical weight management.  Dr. Richards offers convenient virtual appointments for added flexibility.
