Dr. Richards is a very great and nice doctor

She referred me to one of the best hospitals to do my surgery. She made sure if I had any questions, that they were answered to the best of her ability. Dr. RICHARDS IS very friendly, professional, and wise. I would definitely recommend her.

She's extremely knowledgeable when it comes to weight management and has a way of making what could be a sensitive subject very easy to talk about

I did not interact with nurses on this tele video

I value respectful, patient-centered communication with my healthcare providers. During this visit, when I shared that I was taking compounded tirzepatide instead of the prescribed phentermine, the provider's reaction felt dismissive and shaming. She visibly expressed frustration, placing her hand on her face and saying 'Why?' in a tone that felt degrading. Although she did offer alternative options, they were all significantly more expensive and were presented primarily as safer because they came directly from pharmaceutical companies. The conversation did not include questions about what dose I am currently taking or how my health has changed since starting the medication. As a result, the recommendations felt less individualized. A more supportive and curious approach-asking about my experience with the medication and discussing safety, effectiveness, and cost considerations-would have made the interaction feel much more collaborative and constructive. As I have had helpful interactions with this provider in the past, this visit was quite disappointing.

Ann-Marie Richards was wonderful. She was very knowledge and answered all my questions. I look forward to my weight loss journey with her. She has the best manner and is very pleasant. Her staff is also very attentive to any questions that you have. A great experience.
