Alessandra Carrillo, D.O., earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and her Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.
She completed her residency in internal medicine at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields in Olympia Fields, Ill., and her fellowship in hematology and oncology with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.
Dr. Carrillo developed a passion for caring for others at a young age, inspired by her mother’s example of deep
compassion.
She has always felt a strong sense of duty toward her fellow human beings, which motivated her to serve in the U.S. Army and ultimately to pursue a career in medicine.
