Patricia Lage, M.D., serves patients at FirstHealth Primary Care -Raeford.

Lage is fluent in Spanish and served in the U.S. Army supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. She completed a family medicine residency at McLeod Regional Medical Center in South Carolina after earning her medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine. Lage said impacting others is what led her to a career in medicine.

“I was drawn to a career in medicine because it gives me the opportunity to empower and positively influence others by educating them on ways to improve their health,” she said.

“I hope I can help patients at Primary Care – Raeford adopt sustainable lifestyle choices for long-term quality of life.”

Outside of work, Lage said she enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew, reading, watching movies and staying active.

She's an amazing doctor that listens carefully and gives feedback based on what I ask. She's the reason I'm coming to First Health. If she moves somewhere else, I'll go follow her probably. I have never had an amazing doctor like her.

They are all really awesome to me. They listen to me. They're the best all around as far as my health care right now. And I really appreciate everyone from the staff, the nurses, receptions, anybody back there. That doctor's office is very kind and very sweet. And I pray Lord bless them for taking care of old woman. I've been a patient with Hoke Moore for quite a while and have always been treated with respect by all staff from the time I check in at the front desk to the time I see the doctor and nurses. Everyone is very professional, courteous, respectful, caring toward me and other patients (by observation). Their attention to my health issues and questions are listened to and addressed. Appointment times are kept; time to do lab work or other testing is completed in a timely manner with explanation of what and how procedures are completed. The staff shows care for its patients at all times.
