Susan Beaty, R.N.
Susan Beaty, R.N., has served as president of FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Hoke Campus since September 2013. She earned her associate degree in nursing from Clinton Community College in Plattsburg, N.Y.; her bachelor’s degree in nursing from SUNY College of Technology in Utica, N.Y.; and her master’s degree from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minn. Her previous nursing leadership experience includes positions with Duke University Medical Center, first as head nurse/clinic manager for the Bone Marrow Transplant Program and later as nurse clinician and administrative supervisor for the Department of Medicine, Hematology/Oncology Associates. She joined Moore Regional Hospital in 1998 as a staff nurse and the assistant director of nursing for the Critical Care and Telemetry units. After a period of service with Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, she rejoined FirstHealth at Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham and later served as clinical director of Oncology Services at Moore Regional. Beaty is a member of Oncology Nursing Society and the Moore Regional Hospital-Hoke Campus Board of Advisors.
