Karen C. Robeano, DNP, R.N., NEA-BC
Karen C. Robeano, DNP, R.N., NEA-BC, has served as chief nursing officer since February 2013. She earned a bachelor of science in nursing and a master of science in nursing from The Ohio State University and a doctorate in nursing practice from Texas Christian University. She has 14 years of experience as a chief nursing officer with several organizations in Columbus, Ohio, and Fort Worth Texas. Prior to joining FirstHealth, she was a chief nursing officer at Riverside Methodist Hospital, an 835-bed, Magnet-designated hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Robeano is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, and has served as president of several local chapters in Ohio and Texas. She served on the Board of Directors for Community Hospice of Texas in Fort Worth. She also served on the Executive Committee for the Central Ohio Go Red campaign. She was an adjunct faculty member in the Master in Nursing Program for the University of Texas, Arlington.
