Mary Lou Russell began her EMS career in January 1981 as a volunteer with West Montgomery Volunteer Ambulance Service. She became a paramedic in December 1990 and joined FirstHealth EMS on January 1, 1991.
One of the first certified paramedics in Montgomery County, Mary Lou has dedicated 43 years to serving her community. A lifelong resident of Montgomery County, she lives in Wadeville and is grateful for the career opportunities EMS has provided her.
During a recent retirement celebration, FirstHealth honored and thanked Mary Lou for her decades of dedication, compassion and service to others.
