Grace Ball, D.O.TROY – FirstHealth of the Carolinas announces that Grace Ball, D.O., will transition her practice from FirstHealth Family Medicine-Pinehurst to FirstHealth Primary Care & Cardiology in Troy, beginning March 30. This move brings Dr. Ball closer to her home while allowing her to continue providing comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Current patients who wish to continue seeing Dr. Ball are welcome to schedule appointments at her new location in Troy, or they may choose to continue their care with another provider in Pinehurst.

Dr. Ball joined FirstHealth Family Medicine-Pinehurst in August 2022 after completing her family medicine residency at Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville.

She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Va. and holds a bachelor’s degree in classics from the University of Virginia.

With a passion for family medicine, Dr. Ball is committed to building lifelong relationships with her patients. She is certified in Lifestyle Medicine, a specialization in the prevention, treatment and reversal of chronic disease using evidence-based methods.

“My love for family medicine is one of natural curiosity to address problems and a strong sense of empathy to know and understand the people behind the medical issue,” she said.  “I want to build personal, lifelong relationships with my patients and provide comprehensive care—as they say, cradle to grave—and I’m excited to continue this mission in Troy.”

Dr. Ball joins Victor Farrah, M.D., and Taressa Bryan, FNP, at FirstHealth Primary Care & Cardiology located at 522 Allen Street, Suite 101 in Troy.
