Certified Physician Assistant Now Offering Neurology Care in Chatham County

PITTSBORO, N.C. – Patients with neurology needs can now see certified physician assistant Amy Gonzales at FirstHealth’s clinic in Chatham County.

Gonzales is board certified and has more than 16 years of health care experience in neurology, psychiatry and pain management.

Gonzales graduated from D’Youville University in Buffalo, New York, in 2008. Before becoming a physician assistant, she worked as a cardiac ultrasonographer.

“It is an honor to provide care to patients, and I take pride in connecting with my patients and fostering strong relationships built on trust and communication,” she said.

“I believe that treatment is a collaborative process and make that the foundation of my approach.”

Outside of work, Gonzales says she enjoys sports and spending time with her family.
