RAEFORD, N.C. -- FirstHealth of the Carolina is pleased to welcome Patricia Lage, M.D., to the care team at Primary Care – Raeford.
Lage is fluent in Spanish and served in the U.S. Army supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. She completed a family medicine residency at McLeod Regional Medical Center in South Carolina after earning her medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine.
Lage said she is excited to join FirstHealth because of the sense of unity and camaraderie at the Primary Care clinic in Raeford. Lage said impacting others is what led her to a career in medicine.
“I was drawn to a career in medicine because it gives me the opportunity to empower and positively influence others by educating them on ways to improve their health,” she said.
“I hope I can help patients at Primary Care – Raeford adopt sustainable lifestyle choices for long-term quality of life.”
Outside of work, Lage said she enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew, reading, watching movies and staying active.
