SANFORD, NC – Fitness industry veteran Rance Bryant is the new director of FirstHealth’s Fitness Center in Sanford.
Bryant brings 24 years of experience in operations and business development at fitness facilities in Arkansas, Virginia and North Carolina. Bryant has served as Vice Chair of the Arkansas Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness as well as a committee member of the Arkansas State Parks Trails for Life.
Recently, he also served on the Medical Fitness Association membership committee. Bryant earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Arkansas State University.
John Caliri, the administrative director of FirstHealth Fitness, said he’s thrilled to have Bryant join the team.
“Rance is a well-established and experienced leader in medical fitness. We look forward to him becoming part of the FirstHealth family and helping our efforts to bring our exercise is medicine mindset to Lee County,” Caliri said.
Bryant said he plans on strengthening FirstHealth Fitness’ strong bond with the Sanford community and its integration with the health care system.
“I can’t wait to join the team at our center in Sanford,” Bryant said. “We will be focused on serving our members, enhancing their health and wellness journey and providing outstanding customer service.”
Outside of work, Bryant enjoys spending time with his wife, Meredith, and golden retriever, Ruby. They enjoy cycling, hiking, skiing, gardening and golf.
