RAEFORD, N.C. -- FirstHealth of the Carolinas is welcoming a new member to our family medicine team in Hoke County.
Diana Riddley, M.D., is an experienced provider joining James Mergy, M.D., Jamie Dickerhoff, FNP-C and Amanda Wendenburg, FNP at FirstHealth Primary Care – Raeford.
Riddley said she’s excited to continue caring for patients in Raeford and surrounding communities.
“I enjoy treating patients in the primary care setting because I can make a personal connection with patients and their families,” Riddley said.
Riddley completed a Family Medicine Residency in 2020 at Fayetteville’s Southern Area Regional Health Education Center and earned her Medical Degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2016.
She has previously cared for patients at the Fayetteville Department of Veterans Affairs. Riddley said she knew as a child that she wanted to pursue a career in medicine.
“For as long as I can remember I always wanted to be a doctor. As a child, I would always keep a first aid kit nearby to bandage any wounds,” she said. “I have always enjoyed caring for others.”
Outside of work, Riddley enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children.
