Matthew Prestwood, MHA, FACHE

Matthew Prestwood, MHA, FACHE, serves as president of Moore Regional Hospital-Hoke. 

Prior to his current role, he served as vice president, operations for Moore Regional Hospital. In that role, he  successfully managed systemwide services, including EMS, laboratory, imaging, public safety, life safety & emergency management, facility services, environmental services, and food & nutritional services. 

Prestwood earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.  He previously served as vice president, medical, surgical, and critical care services and vice president, support services at Duke University Hospital. 

Prestwood began his career in health care in 2008 and has served in multiple leadership roles with Duke University Health System. Prestwood is originally from Lenoir, N.C. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Kayla and their two children.  Matt also enjoys golf, fitness, camping and cycling.
