Catherine Hughes, MBA, FACHE, joined FirstHealth as vice president of operations for FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in September 2025. She is a seasoned health care leader with a proven track record of driving operational excellence, fostering collaboration and achieving measurable outcomes.

Prior to joining FirstHealth, Catherine served as vice president of hospital operations with Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, Va., and as executive director of patient care services at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Va.
