Five Labor & Delivery suites at Richmond Memorial Hospital are equipped with a state-of-the art continual monitoring system for the mother and baby soon to arrive. The large spacious rooms feature a home-like setting and can be converted to a delivery room within minutes.
After the birth of your baby, you will move to another room where you will receive care from a nurse specializing in mother and baby care. These rooms were renovated in 2012 to provide a comfortable, intimate environment where you and your new baby can bond.
The 12-bed pediatric unit was renovated in 2012 to provide an updated home-like atmosphere. The playroom is popular with the children since this area gives them a place to visit away from their patient room. |
