In addition to general support groups, the FirstHealth Grief Resource & Counseling Center hosts groups for people who are in different stages of the grief process or who have experienced similar losses. There are also support groups specific to the needs of the newly bereaved, to men and to those who wish to deal with their grief in alternative ways.
There are support groups that explore dreams and the grieving process as well as those that focus on therapeutic writing, relaxation techniques and various forms of creativity.
We organize support groups for children and teens as well as a summer camp, Camp Lost & Found, for children and teens that have lost someone special.
Our lending library has an extensive collection of books, videos and CDs on topics related to death, bereavement and end-of-life issues.
