If you are having a medical emergency, call 9-1-1.
ER wait times are approximate and provided for informational purposes only. Please be advised that the wait times can change significantly and immediately, without warning, and therefore are not guaranteed. The provision of the wait times on the FirstHealth website should not be considered medical advice or as a recommendation of one emergency department over another.
You will be seen and assessed by a triage nurse who has been specially trained in emergency care. That nurse will follow a standard assessment to determine, based on your condition, the order in which you will be seen. People who require the most urgent care will be treated first. However, everyone will be treated as soon as possible.
The ER wait time represents the time it takes from arrival until the patient is placed in a treatment area to see a qualified medical professional, defined as a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Physician Assistant (PA). It represents an average of current patients waiting to be seen by the triage nurse or to be placed in a treatment area. It is updated every 30 minutes.
At FirstHealth, our core purpose is to care for people. The Emergency Care Team is here for you when you are sick and need emergency treatment 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and 365/366 days per year.
