The Clara McLean House at FirstHealth is a home away from home for patients and families during times of medical treatment. Located across Memorial Drive from FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Clara’s House is a calming oasis that promotes healing and comfort.
Who can stay at Clara’s House?
- Persons receiving outpatient treatment or who are having next-day surgery at Moore Regional Hospital
- Immediate family members or direct caregivers of patients at Moore Regional Hospital or FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care
All guests must be referred by a professional clinical staff member within the FirstHealth service area – a physician, nurse, social worker, case manager or hospital chaplain.
In addition to the Clara McLean House, FirstHealth of the Carolinas has partnered with local hotels to offer a discounted program to help patients and their families find lodging when the need arises. These hotels provide a special rate for those undergoing treatment or for family members of a patient at Moore Regional Hospital.
The Hospitality Services Program also provides assistance with:

- Navigation of Health System & Resources
