Telephone Services

• Each patient room has a telephone for your convenience. To make local calls from within the hospital, dial 9 and then the number
• For long distance calls, please use the following instructions:
• Moore Regional Hospital: Dial 8+0 for a long distance operator.
• Montgomery Memorial Hospital: Dial 9+0 for a long distance operator.
• Richmond Memorial Hospital: Dial 9+0 for a long distance operator.

Phone cards are also available in the Gift Shops at Moore Regional and Richmond Memorial hospitals. TTY telephones are available for the deaf and hearing impaired at all facilities.

Cellular Phones
The use of cellular phones is permitted in all areas of the hospital except those noted as no-cell zones. No cell zones are marked with appropriate signage.

Television Services
Free television service is provided in patient rooms for your enjoyment. Your nurse will show you how to use the control buttons for the television in your room. A wide variety of channels are available for viewing including “The Patient Channel,” which offers health and wellness information.
