Top Navigation
At the top of every page, you will notice links to high-level sections of our website. In these sections, or categories, you will be able to drill down to find what you are looking for. If you have a problem finding information, please email the webmaster and include a description of what you are trying to find.
NEW! Drop down menus have been added to the top navigation buttons. Use these to quickly access specific areas of the web site. Your computer must have a javascript enabled browser to access the drop down menus. Click HERE to see if your browser is "javascript enabled."
Breadcrumb Navigation
Beneath the top navigation, you will notice a series of links separated by "/" followed by a bolded word, or words. Note the following example:
Home / Patients & Visitors / Hospitality Services
As you drill down into the FirstHealth website, you can use this "breadcrumb" to get back to previous levels of content. This functionality is very handy for navigating expansive content sections that have many sub-categories. So, if you ever get lost, use your breadcrumb!
Left Menu Navigation
This menu is available on all pages in the site. As you drill down into content sections, this menu will change to reflect the content for the specific area you are navigating. We did this to make your experience navigating our website as focused as possible. As you move down through the sections, you may wonder why certain links are not still available. If you use the "breadcrumb", you should be able to get back to a higher level section and it's broader menu selections.
Right Menu Navigation, or Quick Links
This menu will be available on most, but not all pages. It was created for quick user access and navigation to the most popular areas of our website. The menu may change over the course of time as the popularity of certain sections changes. In a way, you, the user, will determine what appears on this menu in the future.
Search Functionality
Searching websites can be frustrating, but we hope that you will find the search functionality we provide to be useful. You have two choices: you can search our website, or our Health Library.
Searches performed in our Health Library will result in more general and definitional information and will provide you with excellent source for Healthcare related content.
Searches performed in our website will result in FirstHealth related findings that are more focused on the services that we provide. This is really useful for searching for new articles, press releases, and specific FirstHealth related content.

In the future, we hope to provide this functionality without the need for external applications.
