FirstHealth Home Health Services offers home care for premature babies and other newborns that need close monitoring.

Home Health nurses make regular visits to check on babies and make sure they are feeding well and growing as they should. Nurses can also give shots to prevent Respiratory Syncytial Infection Virus (RSV), a serious respiratory infection, to babies who meet certain criteria.

A physician’s referral is required for Home Health infant care, which is available in most of the counties that FirstHealth serves. For more information call (910) 295-2211.
