For Moore Regional Hospital, enter through the Emergency Room entrance off Highway # 211. Check in at the Emergency Department Reception Desk and present your Pre-Registration card (blue card). If you are in active labor, stop at the Emergency Department Reception Desk for an escort to Labor and Delivery Unit on the second floor. (You will need your blue pre-registration card).

You may park your car in the Emergency Department Visitor’s Lot. If you are admitted to the hospital, your car will need to be moved to the main visitor’s parking lot.

For Richmond Memorial Hospital, enter through the Emergency Department and check in at the desk.  If you are in active labor, stop at the Emergency Department and request an escort to Labor and Delivery Unit on the first floor. 

You may park your car in the Emergency Department visitor’s lot. If you are admitted to the hospital, your car will need to be moved to the main visitor’s parking lot.

What to take to the Hospital?

For Mom…

  • Personal toiletries (brush, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, makeup, hair dryer, hairspray, etc.)
  • Underpants
  • Nursing/support bra
  • Robe and slippers
  • Going-home clothes (these should be maternity clothes)

For Baby…

  • Pacifier, if desired
  • Receiving Blanket for going home
  • Going home outfit (including socks/booties)
  • Car seat

Optional items:

  • Hat
  • Nail Clippers
  • Mittens for hands
