Our Women’s Service provides both inpatient and outpatient gynecological care. Our nurses understand these special needs and concerns and are trained to care for you and to prepare you for your discharge home.

FirstHealth offers a number of specialized services including:

• Gynecological surgical procedures
• Post-menopausal care and counseling
• Hormone Replacement Therapy
• Colposcopy for abnormal pap smears

FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital is recognized as one of the few institutions nationwide that is a member of the national collaborative cancer group, the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG).

Our affiliation provides our patients the opportunity to receive National Cancer Institute sponsored treatments that are available through GOG university affiliated hospitals throughout the United States.
