Cancer Support Groups

Group therapy can provide much-needed support and comfort during a time of need. Groups are a great place to voice to your feelings and to learn that you are not alone. You are welcome to join one of these free FirstHealth-supported groups.

Moore County

• Cancer Support Group
  Open to cancer patients and their loved ones. Meets every Tuesday, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Cancer Center Sun Room at Moore Regional Hospital.
• Breast Cancer Support Group
  Meet the second Monday of each month from 7 to 8 p.m., Room B Moore Regional Hospital Conference Center. (Note: Meetings are not held in July and August.)
• Depression Support Group
  Every Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Outpatient Conference Room at Moore Regional Hospital

Richmond County

• Susan Sharpe Cancer Support Group
  Open to anyone dealing with cancer. Meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Richmond Memorial Hospital in conference dining room. (Note: Meetings are not held in June, July and August.)
