Professional Advisory Committee
Role
The purpose of the committee is to inform the community about the benefits of charitable giving through seminars and educational material. The council works with the Foundation to provide donors with creative ideas, information and suggestions on how to increase their income and reduce their capital gains taxes and estate taxes for their heirs, while at the same time, providing support for their charitable interests.
Objectives
- Assist potential donors in achieving maximum financial security
- Suggest ideas that allow the donor to consider charitable support to entities and affiliates of the Foundation of FirstHealth
- Provide professional counsel to Foundation staff when working with prospective donors interested in establishing an estate plan or planned gift
