New Faces in Administration Kerry Husted, RT, RTT, MBA, administrative director for the Oncology Service Line/Pharmacy, has been with FirstHealth since 1997. Husted’s background as a radiation therapist combined with a master’s degree in business enables her to understand both the patient care and the operational elements associated with the Cancer Center. Margie Thomas, BSRT, (R) (T), was promoted to the position of assistant director, Radiation Oncology, at Moore Regional Hospital in July 2006. She had been the chief radiation therapist for Moore Regional’s Radiation Oncology department since 2003. Lou Anne Griffin, R.N., serves as the assistant director of Outpatient Medical Oncology Services at Moore Regional Hospital. She has worked at Moore Regional since 1995 and was promoted to CCT supervisor before moving to Inpatient Oncology in March 2006. Beth Dietrich, MSW, PLCSW, serves Moore Regional Hospital’s Cancer Center as the clinical social worker. She assists cancer patients and their families with social and emotional issues related to cancer diagnosis. She also works with the cancer support group and maintains the cancer library. |
