By definition, an annual giving program is the principal source of “current use” gifts from patients, friends and others in contrast with a planned giving program that is designed to seek support for “endowment” and other purposes essential to the hospital’s long-range strength. We offer a number of programs to meet the unique interests of our donors.
Circle of Friends
Members of the Circle of Friends are an integral part of the Moore Regional Hospital Foundation’s efforts. These Friends support the Foundation through gifts totaling $25,000 and above through annual giving, planned gifts, bequests or other gifts accumulated over time. The gift is payable over a period of 10 years and may be named and directed as unrestricted or may be designated for a particular purpose or project of the donor’s choice.
The Scroll Society represents the most successful annual giving program of the Foundation and is often referred to as the cornerstone of the Foundation’s continued growth.
Membership in the Scroll Society is open to friends of the Hospital who give, bequeath or otherwise make available to the Society the sum of $10,000 or more. This gift is payable over a period of 10 years and may be named and directed to a specific department, to a program for capital equipment, scholarship use or a CARE Fund. It may also be designated simply for the total growth and continued excellence of the hospital.
Members of the President’s 500 are those special friends who contribute $500 or more annually to Moore Regional Hospital Foundation. These funds are used at the discretion of the Foundation Board of Trustees to support programs or projects to the hospital. Gifts that are restricted are used exclusively in the area designated.
Clement R. Monroe Legacy
Named for the hospital’s first surgeon and administrator, the Clement R. Monroe Legacy membership is reserved for those donors whose gifts total $250 or more annually. These funds are used at the discretion of the Foundation Board of Trustees to support programs or projects to the hospital. Gifts that are restricted are used exclusively in the area designated.
