CARE is an acronym representing Clinical and/or Capital, Advocacy, Research and Education. Together these areas express the variety of philanthropic needs experienced by the hospital and the patients it serves.
Moore Regional Hospital Foundation established the CARE Matrix as a guide and a way to “catalogue” the identified philanthropic needs of the hospital. The CARE Funds integrate clinicians, administrators and community volunteers who have a special interest concerning a specific disease or health care service. The goal of the CARE Funds is to promote prevention through education, develop advocacy programs for patients suffering from chronic or terminal health conditions, support advancements through research and to encourage philanthropic support so that we can maintain our edge of excellence in health care services.
Here is a sampling of CARE Funds. New initiatives continue to be added based on needs that are identified by our clinical areas.
