FirstHealth has been providing high quality emergency services since Moore Regional Hospital first opened its doors in 1929. Today, it’s the busiest Emergency Department in the region – treating more than 50,000 patients a year for a variety of illnesses and injuries including life-threatening heart attacks and critical trauma from accidents.

The FirstHealth Emergency Services CARE Fund was established to increase awareness of emergency care medicine, promote safety in the community and to encourage philanthropic support of the Emergency Department. Continuing education and training are essential to the daily operation of a comprehensive and state-of-the-art Emergency Department. FirstHealth keeps its nurses and support staff up-to-date with the latest techniques and procedures in emergency medicine.
